The Ride 2019

Ride Overview

The 2019 Chairty Ride will begin in Adelaide, South Australia on 31st March 2019 and finished in Wodonga, Victoria on 6th April, 2019, at the Hume Veterans Information Centre.
Below we have details on the approximate route for the ride.

Day 1 - Sunday 31st March 2019
Adelaide to Murray Bridge

Distance: 84.35km
Elevation Gain: 1291m
Estimated Riding Time: 3h 30m

This years ride starts in Adelaide and follows the same route we used for Day 3 of the 2017 ride. From the Adelaide War Memorial then through the city streets to the Old Toll Gate at the start of the Crafers Bikeway. Travelling along the bikeway to Crafers then on to Handorf via Bridgewater. Littlehampton is next and then onto Nairne and Dawesley. We then travel along the Old Princes Highway to just outside of Murray Bridge where we take Adelaide Road into Murray Bridge.
We finish the day at the Murray Bridge Soldiers Memorial

Day 2 - Monday 1st April 2019
Murray Bridge to Pinnaroo

Elevation Gain: 407m
Estimated Riding Time: 7h 10m

Day 2 starts in Murray Bridge with us heading to Tailem Bend and then heading east on the B12 through Lameroo and on to Pinnaroo.

Day 3 - Tuesday 2nd April 2019
Pinnaroo to Ouyen

Elevation Gain: 439m
Estimated Riding Time: 5h 40m

Day 3 startsin Pinnaroo where we continue our journey on the B12 through Murrayville, Cowangie, Boinka, Linga, Tonita, Walpeup and on to Ouyen.  .

Day 4 - Wednesday 3rd April 2019 
Ouyen to Swan Hill

Elevation Gain: 245m

Day 4 starts in Ouyen and heads to Nyah and then down to Swan Hill.

Day 5 - Thursday 4th April 2019 
Swan Hill to Echuca

Day 5 Facts
Distance: 158.3km
Elevation Gain: 242m
Estimated Riding Time: 6h 33m
Day 5 starts in Swan Hill heading to Kerang and then on to Echuca.

Day 6 - Friday 5th April 2019
Echuca to Yarrawonga

Day 6 Facts
Distance: 144.1km
Elevation Gain: 231m
Estimated Riding Time: 5h 57m

Day 6 starts in Echuca and heads across to Nathalia and then across to Yarrawonga .

Day 7 - Saturday 6th April
Yarrawonga to Wodongal

Day 7 Facts
Distance: 98.4km
Elevation Gain: 454m
Estimated Riding Time: 4h 4m
Day 7 we head to Wodonga from Yarrawonga, through Rutherglen.
